Fine portraiture is an extension of one's self. It creates a lasting memory or emotion that will be relived again and again. The hands of time obscure even our best memories of people and places, but a photograph can help us revive cherished memories and let them live forever.
I photograph with this in mind. Each image that I capture is unique and transcends the ordinary to reveal the special relationships of your family and friends. I continually strive to create images that not only document what people look like but also give the viewer a sense of what the subjects’ personalities and emotions were at that one moment.
Two photographers can be in two places at once …
So we’ll capture moments that even you didn’t get to see! For all but the smallest weddings, I will have a second experienced photographer working with me whom I have carefully chosen for their own unique vision and character. Both my assistant and I capture lots of photojournalist-style candids, which comprise the majority of our coverage. Everyone you know and love will be looking their best that day! And so I also believe that a certain amount of time dedicated to just photography assures that you get the best possible photographs of yourselves and the most important people in your lives.
The Wedding Book
I believe that a finely crafted wedding book is the icing on the cake! Looking at a stack of loose prints or images on a computer monitor or even in a scrapbook album simply cannot compare with a custom book created by an expert! I’ve produced hundreds of wedding books, and I love that part of the process as much as taking the pictures! Since everyone’s taste is different, I provide several different styles, from the traditional matted album to the latest coffee table book.
